Meet Our Associate Director
Our Associate Director is Klaudia Petrovich.
Teaching Philosophy:
I am the Lead Teacher in the Green Room and also the Assistant Director at Beginnings. I have been working with young children since 2002 and as a caregiver and teacher, believe that all children are unique human beings and I am here to foster each individual. I believe that recognizing the unique personality of each child is the key to the child’s success. A child’s development can
be greatly enhanced by teachers and parents working together and providing the child an environment of freedom, choice, and discipline.
Educational Background:
I am First Aid and CPR certified. I hold a B.A in Education and an M.A. in Literature. I have also earned a Certificate of Achievement in Early Childhood Education. I regularly attend workshops, seminars and conferences related to Early Childhood Education. I continue to educate myself by attending such events, reading related books and taking classes. I also hold a child development certificate at the Site Supervisor level.
Personal Interests:
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, including my 5-year old son. Whenever possible, I try to visit with friends and family and I enjoy traveling, gardening and going for long walks. Shopping is also a passion or a vice, but I love it anyway.
