Our Amazing Santa Monica Staff
Our teachers are highly qualified educators with training, experience and education in Early Childhood Education. Our teachers have degrees
in the fields of education, early childhood education, psychology and other related fields. Our teachers provide an environment of trust, care,
respect and individuality for each child. Our dedicated teachers promote self-esteem in our children by providing developmentally appropriate
activities that are initiated by the children themselves. We select our teachers carefully and require all of our staff to further their professional
development and attend professional conferences and workshops. All employees are CPR and First Aid Certified.

Lead Teacher , Blue Room
My name is Cynthia Moreno and I am the Teacher in the Blue Room. I believe that my job as an educator is to truly understand the children’s needs in all of the developmental
domains. My philosophy of being a good teacher is that we have to continue learning as we teach. It is important to always examine our teaching methods and learn new ones over time.
I believe children are always exposed to various learning experiences and teachers should be able to give children the opportunity to show their creativity as they exhibit their
individuality at all times. I love creating a great learning environment that is essential to a child’s development and setting up the classroom to the children’s best ability to explore.
I’m a strong believer that children learn through play and hands on learning experiences.

As I continue to further my education and professional growth in the Early Childhood field, not only will I be teaching but I will also be a learner, because as educators we never stop learning.
